Xiaokong Mountain
Xiaokong Mountain is also a flat-topped conical volcano with an elevation of 1,957 m, a diameter of about 350 m at the bottom, and a crater diameter of 250 m. Its difference in elevation is 30 m on the north side and 60 m on the west side, and its crater is 60 m deep.
Xiaokong Mountain was formed at a similar time to Dakong Mountain and also experienced two eruptions. There were not many volatile components at the time of the eruption, so it did not accumulate into a higher cone. The original lava lake surface is preserved at the bottom of the crater. The half-moon shaped lava dome, about 200 m in diameter and 50 m in height, that erupted later on the east side of the cone is the result of slow upward erosion of magma after the main volcanic channel was closed, so there is no obvious crater.
