Historical and Cultural City - Tengchong

Tengchong, a famous historical and cultural city on the Southern Silk Road, has accumulated a rich and profound history and culture through the vicissitudes of time. In the Second World War, the Chinese army and people fought against the Japanese invasion forces on this tie-up land, the first example of total annihilation of the invaders, defending the dignity of the Chinese nation. The solemn National Cemetery is the resting place of the martyrs who died for their country. Thousands of tombstones show to future generations the righteousness of the national elite in resisting foreign humiliation. In the ancient overseas Chinese town of Heshun, there is also a village library built in 1928, which is still the largest and has the largest collection of books in China.
